Introducing Wim Houben

Blue Horizon is thrilled to announce the signing of Wim Houben to our stable of talented digital artists. Wim is the lead artist/co-art director at I-Illusions, a videogame studio in Belgium, and worked on a large number of concepts and details for their hit VR games Space Pirate Trainer and Space Pirate Trainer DX.

Wim’s education in design began at Belgian film school Katholieke Hogeschool Limburg where he earned a master’s degree in animation before honing his skills on various projects over the following years. He founded the Cura Game Academy in Curaçao where he teaches 3D videogame modeling and gives lessons in Unity and held a Game Art Summer Camp at The Curaçao Museum in 2020.

Wim said of his inclusion to the Blue Horizon platform:

“Good design begins with honesty and asks tough questions. It comes through collaboration with others and from trusting your intuition. I have confidence that the Blue Horizon team will help me create some truly unique and inspiring pieces without impinging on my freedom or creativity.”

Blue Horizon is greatly looking forward to working with Wim on his first series of NFTs.
